Twist goblets, sherbets, cocktails, and cordial

The design of Imperial's Twist stemware is a bit of an enigma. It is possibly attributed to Russel Wright, who designed a line of tumblers that this design matches. The Twist stems have also been documented in Imperial papers in conjunction with the Twist line of tumblers, so we cannot yet discount the fact that they may have been one of Russel’s designs. The stems, however, were never documented in Wright's paperwork and I've never seen any proof that Imperial attributed them as being his work.

Included in this lot are 9 oz. goblets (x9), 6 oz. sherbets (x7), 3 oz. cocktails (x9), and a lone 1 oz. cordial. I actually found them in 2 batches in the same store, on concurrent days, which rarely happens. I often make a point to revisit a store the day after a good find to see if any similar items made their way onto the sales floor. While psychologically this makes me feel like I have a better chance of unearthing more items, it very seldom turns out to really work that way.
