The 28002 Ice Bowl first appeared in Chase catalogs in 1935. We have documentation of the design dating from August 17, 1934—the filing date of the patent Wright applied for, and was granted on December 4 of that same year. It is a beautiful and elegant design, with a slight nod to art deco style.
