05-063. Henri de Toulouse Lautrec
Aristide Bruant dans son Cabaret lithograph
Unknown publisher
France, c. 1952
20 x 30"
Lithograph on paper
Signed in the plate

Originally issued in 1893, this poster was designed to have additional information printed in the upper left corner. The edition this is from is unclear, but more than likely was from a reprint done around the 1950's. An original of this piece, which was initially issued as a 2-page poster, would claim in excess on $20,000 at auction today.

Found on June 02, 2005 in Saint Paul, MN.

david austin lee said: I have the same reprint. It is in an old frame 1930's. It is in not so good a condition has water stains below but not on the poster. Has age cracks. Looks as if in very good condition. But not fine. What would be the value of this? Thank You, a retired Fire Fighter.

Scott said: Sorry, David. I'm unable to give you an estimate of its value. You might want to speak with an art dealer who specializes in posters.
