The redesigned shape of the Købenstyle pitcher is much more stoic and simple than the naturalistic original shape. Another major difference is the absence of wrapping around the handle—the original had plastic lanyard woven around as a grip and insulator. I wonder if this design decision was made on the basis of aesthetics or production cost?
