After only finding the more common Blenko shapes for the past several months, this pair of 6813 owl bookends is a welcome reprieve. I'm not sure if it is because I am innately attracted to the bookend as an object, or if this design has some intrinsic—yet indescribable—magic, but I find Blenko bookends to be fantastic. This pattern in particular is interesting to me. The texture of the cast glass, the depth of color, and the whimsy of the figures all create a design that excites me.
