The Zeisel streak continues! There has been a whole lot of talk about Zeisel's High Fashion line for Hyalyn (also known as "Z-Ware" to some collectors). After an enormous bidding war for a few High Fashion pieces on an online auction site, collectors are suddenly paying a lot of attention to this fantastic and elusive line of dinnerware. This attention is not without warrant, however. In my opinion, High Fashion is one of the most graceful and beautiful lines that ever emerged from the studio of Eva Zeisel, and once again proves her worthiness of the title "mid-century modern master."
