Manufacturer's mark on all pieces except the cup

I should have bought those cups form earlier today, I guess. If I had, I probably would have then also purchased this bigger lot of Bantu. Apparently, a small chain of Thrift Shops in my area just changed ownership and now are sharing stock. The store I saw this lot in is an old favorite of mine, but I hadn't visited in a couple months. Today just happened to be their grand re-opening with their new name—the same name as the shop I saw the other Bantu cups in today. I'm sure these had to have come from the same place, since I so rarely see this design. Part of me thinks I should have purchased it all and reunited it into a full(er) set.

The other part of me thinks I already have more dishes than I use, and no space to start collecting a new line of dinnerware. This part of me won out today, albeit by an extremely narrow margin. If these pieces were Benin Blue instead of Guinea Gold, the outcome would have most likely been different.

Left in situ on November 19, 2005 in Burnsville, MN.
