Reed wrapped pilsners
Unknown manufacturer

Glass and reed
Unsigned

I had difficulty deciding if I should purchase these pilsners today, but I had the nagging feeling I would be disappointed if I passed them up. I really need to do some more significant research about this line of glassware. I've seen several shapes in similar styles, possibly by the same manufacturer. All have two major features in common: reed wrapping, and clear mold-blown glass. I feel this is definitely an artisan-made line, but would love to dig up details about who made them, when they were produced, and where the manufacturer was located. If you have any information, please drop me a note via the email link in the footer of this page.

In the end, at the moment I am glad I decided to make this purchase. Even though the will see very little usage, I really am attracted to this combination of materials and think this is an important piece of artisan design, even if it continues to remain unattributed.
