The last time I purchased Eames Aluminum Group furniture, I did so with the sole purpose of resale. This was a mistake. Besides needing to pack an oversized item for shipment, more often than not these pieces are purchased by an overseas bidder (and the shipping price often exceeds the purchase price). Because of this, along with my lack of storage space and the poor condition of the upholstery, I decided to pass this Soft Pad Group chair up, no matter how difficult it was to leave it there on the snowy sidewalk outside the thrift shop.
