This clock is well outside my normal fare for Ars Longa, and is a welcome departure for me. All I know is the late Art Deco styling really caught my eye in the thrift shop, mostly because I only very rarely see anything Art Deco unless it is behind the counter in a glass case and mistakenly way overpriced.

The reality is, Telechron made tons of clocks, and was wildly successful in marketing itself from before the war, through the war, and after the war. This was quite a feat for a company, and I believe it deserves praise. I'm just surprised I don't see more of them in the thrift shops. Now that I own one, however, undoubtedly I'll start noticing them more often.
