Back in the mid-1030's, Russel Wright Accessories marketed a colored glass sherry pitcher with a circular reed wrapped handle identical to the handle on these two cordials. For that reason, many collectors attribute this line of clear glass barware to Wright. Other sources list Heisey, among other glass companies, as the manufacturer. The debate continues over this point, but with the recent breakthroughs in knowledge about Wright's glassware lines for Imperial, maybe we can shed some light on this design as well.
Until that happens, I remain in the "maybe by Russel Wright" camp, but cannot responsibly mark these cordials as Wright designs until we have some better documentation. If you have any, I'd be thrilled to see it or even hear about it. Comment away!
