It is a rarity that I actually pass up a piece of American Modern dinnerware in a thrift shop. The fact is this dinner plate was so badly stained and crazed that it would be useless for either display or daily use. I feel a little bit of non-buyer's remorse, but I think it was definitely the correct decision.
