Back in in Minneapolis I hardly would have called a full day of thrifting successful if all I brought home was a pair of Casual China dinner plates and a single dessert plate. I'm singing a different tune now! With this being my first real thrift purchase since moving to central Illinois — where I'm happy when I simply see anything interesting in a thrift store — I'm thrilled with it being something I'll use on a daily basis. Bloomington, about a 45 minute drive from my home, seems like it will be a fairly promising hunting ground in the future, and I plan on visiting again soon. Hopefully this is just the beginning of an upswing in the quantity and quality of finds in the area!
