As the old saying goes, "another day, another Vera scarf." The thrift shopping in town is taking a slightly better turn lately. Even though the quality and quantity of merchandise available is still abysmal, the reopening of the Salvation Army and now the relocation of the Habitat For Humanity ReStore might bode well for future shopping. Both stores are larger than their predecessors, and although their stock hasn't caught up with their space quite yet I can definitely see that happening this summer. Until then (or until I get to go shop in a more major metropolitan area again) I'll be happy with what little I do find.
