I don't really get too excited about finding American Modern any more, unless it is a remarkable piece. The tea cup has definitely fallen off my "remarkable" scale, but finds have been so sporadic lately I felt that thrill once again. My brother was shopping with me, and he must have thought I was nuts. Here I was in the dinnerware aisle of the thrift shop with a common Russel Wright teacup in one hand, and a silly grin on my face.
