07-019. Lurelle Guild
Aluminum underplate
Kensington, Inc.
USA, c. 1934
6 x 6 x 0.5"
Aluminum
Manufacturer's mark

Just a few days ago I found a second piece of Kensington aluminum at this same shop. That piece I was able to absolutely document as the work of Lurelle Guild. This time I'm not so certain. I'm tentatively attributing the piece to Guild for the time being, simply because it seems to fit in with his modernist aesthetic sensibilities. If you have information that either refutes or backs this statement up, I'd love to hear from you.

Found on April 05, 2007 in Champaign, IL.
