This past weekend Kate and I took a trip up to Minneapolis to surprise my dad on his birthday. Since our being in town was top secret, I took advantage of the situation and spent a few hours going to various thrift stores I used to frequent. While there weren't any "blockbuster" finds, it is always refreshing to know that I can head back home and in a single morning add eight new Vera scarves to Kate's collection. It makes me miss the big city even more than I already do!
