It seems that we've been finding quite a significant amount of Vera linens lately. These things tend to go in streaks, so I'll take advantage as long as I can!
This past week, Kate and I paid a short visit to some of her relatives out in Washington. While we took the trip primarily to attend her cousin's wedding, we still managed to find a little bit of thrift shopping time. In our quick spree, I came to the realization that eastern Washington is fertile hunting grounds for midcentury modern decorative arts. Unfortunately we were traveling light, so glass and ceramic purchases were pretty much out of the question, but this set of 4 Vera napkins easily fit into our luggage along with a handful of new Vera scarves for Kate's burgeoning collection.
Just for the sake of accuracy, these napkins were actually found last Friday, August 1st. Our luggage was lost in transit on our way home, though, so I wasn't able to take the photo and post them until today.
Found on August 05, 2008 in Yakima, WA.
