I wasn't planning on going to the thrift store at lunch time today, but I needed to clear my head and sometimes the best way to accomplish that is to just step out of the office for a little while. Today it turned out to be beneficial in two ways: not only was I able to start working out some ideas for a new project I'm working on, but I also found this great set of five Casual China tea cups and six saucers all in Parsley! This is another of Wright's glaze treatments that is under-represented in our collection, so even though we have dozens upon dozens of cups and saucers, it was still a welcome find. besides, I just can't let myself pass up any Casual China for 25 cents a piece, so we'll cram them into some small corner of our cupboards where they'll probably wait until Christmas time. They should look great with out Vera poinsettia linens.
