Like everything else, I've become a lot more picky about which ZSC Stoneage Modern pieces I buy. Not too terribly long ago, I'd scoop up every one I came across, but now I've been passing by more than I've been purchasing. My criteria for what to buy is nebulous, but one large factor is color. And the color of this little number 8005 pot is exactly what drew me to it.
Stoneage Modern was apparently available in a wide array of colors. So far I've seen or heard of two varieties of white (opaque, and foamy), "Quince" (tan or buff), "Sandstone (foamy blue/green/grey), "Golden Poppy" (matte burnt orange), "Saxony Blue," "Cannon Black," pink, glossy dark brown, terracotta, matte golden yellow, cobalt blue, and a pale blue/grey. But never before have I heard mention of the color the pot I found today is glazed in. It's difficult to photograph and describe, but the best I can come up with is it's a dingy greenish yellow ... somewhere between mustard and chartreuse. It also changes fairly significant depending on the light between those two hues.
If any of you have seen other colors I can add to this palette, I'd be very grateful to hear from you.
