Finding this set of sheets has drawn me into a new piece of research. I'm always trying to figure out the names of Vera-designed patterns, but there are no good resources online. So I'm going to take it on myself to correct this problem. A preliminary scanning of advertisements from the era (approximately 1971 to 1979) has helped to identify 20 patterns so far, and I am aware of at least a couple more that I still need to document. Fortunately, I was able to identify the pattern shown as being very aptly named Rainbow Stripe.
If you have any Vera bed linens and would like to help out with the creation of this little online reference guide, I'd really appreciate if you would consider emailing me a good photo that clearly shows the design (something along the lines of the one I've included here). I'll definitely give you credit on the reference page for any help you give. Together we can all help put together this small resource for the Vera-collecting community.

Lizzie commented: Someone has tea glasses in this design on ebay. According to the new "Vera" book, each design was given to the various departments within the Vera Corp. to use or not.
