I Want to Be a Frugal Librarian
Some days I find myself wishing I was a librarian. Spending my days amidst stacks of books often seems appealing. Then only if I had a father who collected art, I may be able to become the next Jean Preston. Preston was thrifty, ate frozen meals, and always took the bus. She also amassed almost $8 million in fine artworks and rare books. yes, I would like to be Jean Preston ... although I'd rather forego the frozen meals.

About the Archives ...
These news archives span back to Ars Longa's inception in August of 2004. Due to this longevity, many of the older posts may feature external links that have gone dead.
