There's a great discussion going on in my post from yesterday, titled Is Midcentury Modern So Yesterday?, in which the demographics of the typical collector of Midcentury Modern objects has been called into question. So as an informal way to gather information about who collects MCM, I've created a short 4-question anonymous survey that might help us get a better perspective on the type of person who is interested in the genre, and why. Please click here to take the survey, and I'll report back my findings in a couple weeks.
These news archives span back to Ars Longa's inception in August of 2004. Due to this longevity, many of the older posts may feature external links that have gone dead. Over time websites move pages and some even close shop altogether. I apologize for these inconsistencies, but in the interest in maintaining a full archive even entries whose links have expired will remain in place on Ars Longa.
