Light in August, Gifted in December

I thought I'd try something new for a change ... a giveaway! This is my way of saying "thank you" for visiting Ars Longa and continuing to make this site interesting and fun for me to work on. I really appreciate everyone's comments, criticism, and participation in the site, so on December 10th I'll be giving one lucky reader a copy of William Faulkner's Light in August with a dust jacket designed by E. McKnight Kauffer and published in 1955.

Light in August by William Faulkner, designed by E. McKnight Kauffer

Entering is easy: all you need to do is leave a comment on this post before midnight on Thursday, December 10th. It'd be great if you'd also join the E. McKnight Kauffer pool on Flickr (if you haven't already), but I'm not making that a requirement for eligibility. The winner will be chosen at random from all the comments posted. Please only one comment per person. Multiple or duplicate posts will be removed.

Bryan commented: Great that you're doing a giveaway! Just wanted to say thanks again for sharing knowledge on your site, I've learned so much from your posts/pics. One of these days, I've got to start taking a look for some Kauffer and Lustig book covers at garage sales and thrifts...
